Résumé de la thèse

Epilepsy is a neurological disease that can be kept under control with anti-epileptic drugs. However, one third of the patients with epilepsy are drug resistant. In focal epilepsy, the alternative is to resect the seizure onset zone in the brain and expect the patient to be seizure free after this surgery. To precisely localise this seizure onset zone, biological markers are necessary. In this thesis, high-density EEG data will be collected and used, and connectivity analysis will be performed on it. In particular, structure-function coupling will be investigated and evaluated as a new biomarker for seizure onset zone delineation in focal epilepsy.
