The meta-analysis technique emerges as the most employed method to synthesize a whole of research relating to the same topic, the same process, etc. While synthesizing, statistically, the studies, meta-analysis makes possible to measure the effect-size of a phenomenon and to see which factors influence this phenomenon. It’s a topic of general interest and can be used in all disciplines and with different study designs (e.g., meta-analytical summary of previously published results as well as meta-analytical summary of several experimental studies reported in one manuscript).
