Does seeing blue make you think about blue feelings? Disentangling the link between perceptual and linguistic colour-emotion associations

I am interested in how colours are linked to emotions. I am using various emotion assessment and colour presentation techniques to learn about inter-individual and cross-cultural differences in colour-emotion associations. I am also investigating how the colour-emotion associations differ when colour is processed perceptually (i.e., seeing a colour) or cognitively (i.e., thinking about a colour).
